Lawyers of Distinction Member William Wunderlich, Esq. Helps Facilitate $850,000 Settlement

Congratulations to Lawyers of Distinction member Mr. William Wunderlich, Esq. of High Ridge, Missouri, who helped facilitate a $850,000.00 settlement against a law firm which failed to obtain and preserve the vehicle in a potential failure of airbag to deploy case. The case presented the very interesting “Catch-22” issue of claiming that the plaintiff was harmed due to the defendants’ failure to preserve the potential evidence – ie., the case could not be proven without the vehicle to inspect, and in needing to prove that plaintiff would have prevailed in the underlying products case under the “case within a case” standard even though the vehicle was not available.

Mr. Wunderlich graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School and was admitted to practice in the state of Missouri in 1973. While in law school, Mr. Wunderlich was in the Top Third of the Class. The Law Office of William M.
