The case involved an injured Brooklyn plaintiff, 44 year old at the time of injury, who has spent most of his adult life incarcerated for various weapons charges and parole violations. He alleged that three month after his last release, the ceiling in the shower in the apartment he was renting collapsed on him. The defendant denied any prior complaints and notice. The plaintiff had undergone a cervical fusion one year after the injury. The entire settlement amount was allocated to pain and suffering as plaintiff did not pursue a loss wage claim.
Ms. Levi is an experienced attorney specializing in personal injury cases with a focus on slip and fall, medical malpractice, and automobile accidents. Further, she also works on various Corporate cases as well. Ms. Levi has obtained substantial compensation packages worth over millions of dollars for her clients both through trying cases in court and getting substantial verdicts as well as through out of court settlements.
