Lawyers of Distinction wishes to welcome Will Ferguson, Esq., of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Ferguson is the managing partner of Will Ferguson & Associates. He has spent the majority of his forty four year legal career practicing personal injury law, representing families of people injured or killed through the fault or negligence of others.

In the forty four plus years of his practice, Mr. Ferguson has litigated or managed plaintiffs’ cases involving more than 2,500 personal injury claims.

Mr. Ferguson was born in New York City in 1948. In 1971, Mr. Ferguson received his Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He also attended the University of Exeter in Devon, England. In 1974 Mr. Ferguson obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law. After graduation from law school and passing the New Mexico State Bar Exam, he was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar.

Mr. Ferguson also served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1976. After leaving the Air Force, Mr. Ferguson began practicing entertainment law. Then in 1983, Mr. Ferguson opened his own law firm, limiting his practice exclusively to personal injury law.

Mr. Ferguson’s areas of practice include: Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Trucking Collisions, Auto/Motorcycle Collisions, Pipeline Explosions, Aviation accidents, Toxic Torts, Nursing Home Abuse, and Medical Malpractice.

In addition to Lawyers of Distinction, Mr. Ferguson’s other professional memberships include: New Mexico State Bar, 1974, University of Exeter, 1974, American Justice Association, Former member ATLA President’s Club, and Lawyer-Pilot’s Bar Association, (Capt., USAF, 1971-1976).

In his free time, Mr. Ferguson is an avid sports car enthusiast and helped develop Sandia Motorsports Park, New Mexico’s largest auto-racing venue. Further, He was a founder of Bank 1st (now Main Bank) a commercial bank in Albuquerque. He is also principal in Motiva Performance Engineering, an automotive performance shop.
