Lawyers Of Distinction Reaches All Corners Of The Earth

In 2017 and 2018 Lawyers Of Distinction has conferred Membership to attorneys from as far away as Europe, Central America and Asia. Most recently, four highly accomplished attorneys from outside the U.S. have joined the ranks of our esteemed colleagues. Below is a short summary of each of these respective lawyers.

Randal K. Nagatani, Esq., received his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, his law degree from Columbia University and an LL.M. in Japan. His primary office is in Tokyo and he is licensed to practice in the state of Hawaii. Randal’s practice includes fields of corporate law, real estate transactions, international law and trademark licensing. He has been peer reviewed by Martindale Hubble and received a 5.0 rating.

Jason Crowell, Esq. is a partner at Peace Crowell, LLP. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and Pomona College (Magna Cum Laude). In addition to being an English Barrister, Jason is also licensed to practice in New York, California and the District of Columbia, with offices in London and San Diego. Jason has substantial experience representing developers, host governments and lenders in project development and financial transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects in the United States, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Jason has published extensively in the field of nuclear energy and on topics relating to renewable energy projects.

Alberto Angeloni, Esq., is a partner at the law firm of DLA Piper and is located in Rome, Italy. He received his law degree from University of Rome La Sapienza as well as an LL.M. degree from University of Pennsylvania. Alberto’s practice focuses on Italian, European and international bankruptcy proceedings. He has published scholarly articles in the fields of insolvency and restructuring international debt.

Jorge Benejam, Esq. is a partner at the Law Firm of DLA Piper and practices primarily out of the Mexico City office. Mr. Benejam graduated with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana, AC, in Mexico City and obtained a Master in Law from the Centro de Estudios de Postgrado en Dechero. Until 2016, Jorge was a professor of Constitutional Law and Commercial Law at Universidad Iberoamericana, AC. Jorge currently acts as legal counsel for Mexican and foreign companies dealing with mergers and acquisitions and regulated markets. His practice therefore encompasses fields of antitrust, life science, telecommunications, banking and foreign trade matters.
