The L.O.D. Selection Committee has determined that there is a need to recognize less experienced attorneys who are making a difference in people’s lives. It was decided that a separate division of L.O.D. be created to acknowledge these “Future Leaders in Law”.

The process for being selected to “Future Leaders in Law” is similar to the process for being selected to “Lawyers of Distinction” except the attorney must be in practice for less than 5 years. The selection process utilizes L.O.D.’s provisional patent #63/338,526 for initial screening. Other things considered include peer nominations from a practice area, superlative case results or philanthropic work.

Once being selected, a nominee must join L.O.D. as a “Future Leader” to secure their position for L.O.D. roster announcements appearing in “The New York Times”, “USA Today”, and other National periodicals as well as the creation of a customized Directory Profile page including picture, bio, links to reviews and Google Maps.

Once a satisfactory background check has been conducted to be certain of no pending ethics claims or violations, the lawyer receives an email saying their Membership has begun. The lawyer may then showcase the “Future Leaders in Law” badge for many purposes including advertising, website, announcements across all major social media platforms (we provide a digital press release) and even email signature templates.

These are but a few of the Member Benefits. See Benefits page.

Let the world know that you have been singled out for excellence in the practice of law and that you are being recognized as a “Future Leader In Law”.
