Benjamin Crump, Lawyers Of Distinction’s 2021 Lawyer Of The Year, To Represent Family Of Teen Who Fell To His Death from Orlando Attraction.
According to a news release issued by his office, attorney Benjamin Crump, Lawyers of Distinction’s 2021 Lawyer of the Year, has been hired to represent the father of Tyre Sampson, 14, who tragically fell to his death from an Orlando amusement park ride. Attorney Crump will be working alongside counsel hired by the victim’s mother to seek answers for the family as to how this incident happened.
“A fun theme park visit with his football team should not have ended in tragedy. Bob Hilliard and I, on behalf of both parents, Yarnell and Neki, intend to get answers for Tyre’s grieving family and request prayers as they shoulder this unthinkable loss,” Crump said.
The incident occurred the night of March 24th while the teen was riding the Orlando FreeFall amusement ride located in ICON Park, a popular amusement venue in Orlando, Florida. The Orlando FreeFall attraction is advertised as the world’s tallest attraction of its type. Footage taken before the incident appears to show the teen’s harness resting higher than those of fellow riders while also showing that the attraction does not utilize a belt between a rider’s legs, relying only on the over-the-shoulder harness to secure a rider in place. No other riders were injured in the incident.
Attorney Crump asks that anyone who was present at the time of the incident call 866-428-8209 to speak with his legal team.
