For the past twenty years, David Lehr has worked as an attorney in the state’s criminal justice system. David Lehr spent the first 13 years of his career with the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, where he developed substantial courtroom skills. He was appointed Deputy District Attorney in 1993 and earned recognition as Outstanding Team Prosecutor in 2006. He brought 99 jury trials to verdict during his career as a prosecutor and resolved thousands of felony cases without going to trial. Following his career as a Senior Deputy District Attorney, David Lehr decided to put his skills to use as a criminal defense attorney. His insights and experience as a prosecuting attorney give him a unique perspective on the law and the strategies used to bring suspected criminals to justice. He earned his B.A. from University of California at Santa Barbara before attending Golden Gate University School of Law, where he earned his J.D.
